Sarasota, FL – December 2011 – Keeping true to the company business model, Joyce Sacco of Generous Property recently presented a donation to Wendy Fitton of Family Promise of Sarasota, a local non-profit organization that assists homeless families in the community. “Family Promise provides temporary shelter for families with young children; assistance includes meals, basic needs, case management referrals and resources for about 90 days” said Wendy.
“This organization epitomizes the types of local services that we at Generous Property where thinking of when we were developing our business model for our real estate agency. We couldn’t be happier to be able to give Wendy this contribution. The work she and all the volunteers here are doing here is inspiring.” said Joyce Sacco
Family Promise has received some additional exposure in the news lately and during this season of giving has inspired generosity in others as well. (click here to see the article) “After the article ran in the Herald Tribune, we received calls from local people offering assistance.” Wendy went on to say. “ One person called after reading about our organization with a five bedroom home that she had vacant and offered it to us for a family in need and another person called and offered theirs for six months.”
